Key Responsibilities
Digital Building Transformation & Smart Systems
- Lead the transformation of legacy building systems into smart, integrated digital building platforms
- Drive implementation of the digital buildings program across the portfolio in alignment with client policies
- Define and execute digital transformation roadmaps, including system upgrades, integration, and modernization initiatives
- Promote innovation in smart building technologies, IoT systems, and digital infrastructure
Building Management Systems (BMS) Operations
- Oversee end-to-end operation, maintenance, and optimization of Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Ensure continuous performance improvement of BMS and associated digital platforms
- Manage configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of building automation systems
- Ensure seamless integration between BMS, ICT systems, and other facility management technologies
ICT & Digital Infrastructure Management
- Manage ICT infrastructure, networks, and software systems used in building operations
- Oversee integration of upper-level and lower-level systems including cloud platforms and data pipelines
- Ensure proper functioning of device-to-cloud communication and IoT integration frameworks
- Maintain software, hardware, and licensing inventory with regular audits
System Integration & Data Management
- Map building system points and integrate operational data into centralized cloud systems
- Extend building ontology and metadata frameworks for improved interoperability
- Ensure accurate onboarding of buildings and systems into centralized data platforms
- Validate system connectivity and ensure real-time data availability for operations
Project Management & Implementation
- Lead BMS enhancement and digital infrastructure upgrade projects
- Coordinate hardware upgrades, system architecture improvements, and testing activities
- Develop and execute Smart Systems Development Plans including pilot projects for new technologies
- Manage project delivery timelines, vendor coordination, and quality assurance
Governance, Policies & SOP Development
- Develop and implement policies for smart systems management and digital operations
- Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for critical systems and environments
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, safety requirements, and best practices
- Conduct regular audits of systems, hardware, software, and licenses
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Collaborate with business units to identify system improvement opportunities
- Engage with vendors, infrastructure partners, and technical teams for system delivery and support
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership on system performance
- Translate operational requirements into technical specifications and implementation plans
Reporting & Performance Management
- Prepare client and executive-level reports on system performance and digital initiatives
- Monitor KPIs related to operational efficiency, system uptime, and cost savings
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and service enhancement
Operations & Support
- Support critical system operations including MES, LMS, FAS, and BMS tools
- Respond to operational issues and emergency situations with appropriate technical actions
- Ensure smooth transition from hardware deployment to software integration phases
