Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Brand Strategist with strong D2C experience to build and scale our skincare brand across digital-first consumer touchpoints. This role will own brand positioning, storytelling, and strategic direction, ensuring a consistent, compelling brand experience across e-commerce, social, performance marketing, packaging, and community platforms.
Define and evolve the brand's positioning, purpose, voice, and values for a D2C skincare audience
Develop long-term brand strategy aligned with business, growth, and revenue goals
Ensure consistent brand messaging across website, social, paid media, packaging, and CRM
Drive brand strategy across owned D2C channels (website, email, SMS, social commerce)
Partner with performance marketing teams to balance brand building with conversion goals
Use funnel insights (awareness to retention) to optimize brand communication
Deeply understand D2C skincare consumers, routines, and purchasing behaviour
Analyze competitors, category trends, and white spaces in digital-first skincare brands
Translate insights into strong brand narratives and growth opportunities
Lead storytelling for product launches, seasonal campaigns, and always-on content
Guide content strategy for social media, creators, influencers, and community-led marketing
Collaborate with creative, social, and performance teams on campaign concepts and execution
Partner with product and R&D teams on product naming, claims, and positioning
Define D2C go-to-market strategies for new skincare launches
Ensure claims are compelling, compliant, and conversion-focused
Own and evolve brand guidelines across tone, visual identity, and messaging
Review and approve brand assets to ensure consistency across all D2C touchpoints
Act as the internal brand guardian across teams and external partners
Good to have:
24 years of experience in brand strategy or brand marketing
Mandatory experience working with D2C brands, preferably in skincare, beauty, or wellness
Strong understanding of D2C funnels, e-commerce storytelling, and digital-first branding
Experience collaborating with performance marketing, growth, and creative teams
Excellent storytelling, copywriting, and presentation skills
Ability to balance creative brand thinking with commercial impact
