Your Role And Responsibilities

Your Prime Role as a Senior Brand Sales Specialist for IBM's Data & AI portfolio is to create demand and progress opportunities to closure, in your assigned set of territory in Public Sector. Based upon your deep brand expertise and in-depth knowledge of the landscape prevailing in your territory's eco system. You will partner with your clients to co-create brand specific solutions that address their business needs and drive client innovation. You navigate withing IBM to bring the right technical resources and outside IBM to align with right set of Partners to drive sales wins.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

Role Specific Skills

  • Apply knowledge of technology solutions and relevant strategic IBM and Technology sales plays with intimate knowledge of the industry or horizontal use cases, references and playbook assets such that seller can lead client/IBM whiteboarding
  • Intimate knowledge of SWOT against main competitors and applies tactics to overcome or to collaborate
  • Understanding of Partner's footprint and capabilities / competencies within your territory
  • Drive early collaboration with other IBM LOBs to accelerate deal progression (POC), close and consumption
  • Confidence in prospecting strategies to identify new logo opportunities
  • Strong knowledge of pricing /subscription models related to offering and how to create the financial /contract

This is a Senior Sales Role, and candidates should possess 14-20 years of relevant industry experience.

The candidate should possess good communication skills, positive mindset, industry knowledge, excellent networking skills, existing industry connects.
