Treebo Hospitality Ventures (THV) is a hotel group operating with a mission of democratising

the joy of travel. We focus on the affordable segments of the market — economy to

mid-market — to cater to the next 100 million travellers who will experience the joy of travel

over the next 10 years. We offer these guests a high-quality experience at an affordable price

point, with a portfolio of 800+ hotels across 120+ cities.

We operate through multiple brands catering to different sub-segments:

● Itsy (₹1000–1500)

● Treebo and Treebo Premium (₹1500–3000)

● Medalio, our newly launched affordable luxury brand (₹3000–6000 per night)

We are also the master franchisee of Accor Hotels in India for their Ibis and Mercure brands,

which cater to larger mid-market properties.

We are the most loved hotel chain in the affordable segment, with an average rating of 7.8/10

across independent review platforms — and we are just getting started

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Brand Manager to lead our most ambitious evolution: making Treebo

the most loved brand in the hospitality industry. Our objective is to move beyond being a leader

in the budget segment to becoming the most trusted and admired name in hospitality.

The primary measure of success in this role will be if you're ultimately able to drive segment

migration- inspiring guests from the mid-premium category to choose Treebo not as a tactical

compromise, but as a preferred place to stay. This is no easy feat and will require relentless

execution at every step. You'll need to be the custodian of the brand promise and deliver it over

and over again, across properties. If you're willing to make this your mission, we would love to

Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic Brand Management

● Design and lead strategies that transition Treebo from an affordable alternative to a

primary choice for value seeking travelers. The move from a compromise to a

preferred choice is where most of your time will be spent

● Translate our 100% Quality Guarantee into a powerful brand moat that builds

unmatched trust in an unorganized market

● Evolve the brand from tactical pricing to Value-Driven Desirability, ensuring Treebo is

seen as a high-quality stay network rather than just a budget chain

Building the right brand narrative and executing it

● Build the right brand narrative for Treebo that aids and delivers on the promise of the

most loved and trusted hotel chain

● Execute the narrative relentlessly to create brand pull and direct traffic to our owned

channels

● Ensure the brand promise is visually and philosophically consistent across 750+

properties

● Implement AI-first workflows for creative asset production and sentiment analysis,

ensuring the brand team remains agile and data-responsive in a high-growth

environment

Behavioral Intelligence & Analytics

● Know your user segments and constantly analyze them to identify the exact service and

trust triggers that move guests from experimenters to loyalists

● Leverage review intelligence to identify and eliminate guest friction points in cleanliness

and staff empathy, the two highest-correlated factors for repeat bookings

● Anticipate shifts in the travel industry to ensure the Treebo brand experience remains

relevant to the evolving needs of the new age traveler

Stakeholder & Experience Management● Act as the strategic bridge between the Online Business (for conversion optimization)

and Ground Operations (for service delivery)

● Manage and nurture external partner relationships (agencies, vendors) and ensure

seamless delivery of the brand promise and mission

● Work as a sparring partner with creative teams to ensure a frictionless environment

Budget Management

● Strategically plan, manage, and optimize the brand marketing budget to ensure

resources are allocated effectively for maximum ROI.

● Handle end-to-end invoicing and payment processes, ensuring accuracy and timely

execution.

What we are looking for

Experience: 4–6 years in brand management, ideally with high-growth D2C brands

(retail, hospitality, preferred)

Proof of ownership mindset: Proven experience in leading a trajectory change for a

brand. The expectation is not that you would have done it alone, but that you would

have a ring side view of it

Digital Fluency: Deeply familiar with online consumer behaviour, journeys and growth

levers

Technical Agility: Adept at using AI tools to accelerate creative exploration and

data-driven storytelling

Resilience: The courage to challenge the status quo and the stamina to lead a

brand-wide metamorphosis in a low-margin, high-complexity sector
