Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager with hands-on experience in D2C fashion brands. The ideal candidate understands brand building, digital-first communication, performance-driven campaigns, influencer collaborations, and consumer behavior in the youth/fashion segment.
This role demands someone who has executed and scaled marketing in a fashion brand.
Key Responsibilites:
Brand & Communication
- Build and execute the complete brand marketing strategy for the D2C fashion category.
- Ensure brand consistency across website, social media, marketplace creatives & campaigns.
- Lead seasonal storytelling, campaign shoots, launches, and fashion-led communication.
Digital Marketing & Growth
- Plan and manage integrated marketing calendars for monthly/quarterly brand growth.
- Oversee social media strategy: content types, reels, lifestyle storytelling, and trends.
- Work closely with performance marketing to drive traffic, conversions & retention.
- Coordinate with e-commerce team for category pushes, launches & promotional events.
Influencer & Community Marketing
- Build influencer pipelines across nano, micro, and macro creators.
- Create and manage creator campaigns, barter programs, and event collaborations.
- Drive UGC + creator-led content to power D2C consumer trust.
Campaigns & Activations
- Plan, execute, and measure fashion campaigns (drops, lookbooks, seasonal stories).
- Identify partnership & brand-collab opportunities (events, festivals, pop-ups).
- Support offline activations, exhibitions & college event branding when applicable.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor brand KPIs: reach, engagement, traffic, CTR, conversion rates, CAC, retention.
- Analyse campaign data and provide actionable weekly/monthly insights.
- Conduct competition benchmarking D2C fashion, apparel, lifestyle brands.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of D2C fashion.
- Hands-on experience with Instagram-first brand building.
- Good understanding of paid marketing (Meta, Google), even if not running ads directly.
- Influencer marketing experience with fashion/lifestyle creators.
- Ability to ideate & oversee shoots, campaign production & fashion content.
- Strong communication, storytelling & project management skills.
- Analytical mindset with comfort in numbers, dashboards & insights.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with performance, e-comm, design & ops teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 57 years in marketing for D2C fashion.
- Experience working in-house for a D2C brand OR at an agency with D2C fashion clients.
- Fashion/lifestyle industry knowledge is mandatory (No IT/SaaS/Tech background).
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Fashion Management, Communication, or similar.
