Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute the overall marketing strategy for assigned products.
  • Coordinate product promotion activities for both new and existing offerings.
  • Conduct brand strategy development, product profitability studies, and performance analysis.
  • Analyze current product performance and identify need gaps in the market.
  • Assess market potential by segment, including competitive landscape.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for existing and new products in untapped segments.
  • Drive achievement of product volume, brand profitability, market growth, and market share targets.

Branding Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head of Branding in all brand-related initiatives.
  • Compile brand and competitor information for strategic planning.
  • Manage marketing communication and product planning.
  • Coordinate and execute branding events and on-ground activations.
  • Manage outdoor media, working with dealers and advertising agencies for localized promotions and campaigns.
  • Support campaign development across various media platforms (Press, TV, Digital, BTL).
  • Understand and manage print/production processes.
  • Participate in consumer insight generation and leverage insights for communication strategies.
  • Handle direct media and event execution with in-depth knowledge of activation strategies.
  • Operate independently with minimal supervision, maintaining quality and consistency under time pressure.

Skills & Competencies Required

  • Experience in brand management, including positioning and communication development.
  • Solid understanding of media planning, BTL activities, and digital marketing.
  • Ability to conceive and execute campaigns, while effectively navigating agency relationships.
  • Strong networking skills for coordination across departments and external partners.
  • Adaptability to dynamic business situations and a strong learning mindset.
  • Experience or knowledge of the automobile industry or motorsports is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Strong process orientation, operational execution, and team collaboration.
  • Comfort with decision-making under time pressure.

Education & Experience

  • Education: MBA (Marketing preferred)
  • Experience: 57 years in brand management/marketing roles, preferably in the automobile industry
