We are now looking for a business leader who can turn consumer insight into winning products, proposition, and communication. This role is for someone who has consumer thinking hat always on, not someone who waits for briefs to be written.
About the Role
You will be responsible for building and scaling a future-ready FMCG brand portfolio for Third Wave Coffee.
You will be the voice of consumer in the business. You will build a system which consistently identifies white spaces, creates products, packaging and communication that would solve real consumer tensions, and scale profitably over time.
Your decisions will directly influence:
- Categories we enter
- How we differentiate versus competition
- How are we known in consumers mind
Key Responsibilities
- Identify white spaces through consumer insight, market trends, and competitive analysis
- Lead market sizing, opportunity framing, and business case creation
- Conduct consumer immersion, concept testing, and validation
- Drive product, format, packaging, and proposition design
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery
- Lead launch readiness and drive post-launch learning loops to improve future launches
- Create communication that resonates with the consumer
- Build creatives that are used across different channels
- Build distinctiveness which will last for 2+ years for the brand
Who is an Ideal Candidate
- 35 years of experience in Brand Development within the FMCG industry
- Experience in discretionary categories preferred (but not mandatory)
- Exposure to consumer research, writing briefs for agencies and insight generation
- Proven track record of delivering new launches within defined timelines
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, zero-to-one environments
- Demonstrates ownership mindset and entrepreneurial thinking.
