Role Overview

Kapda Dori is looking for a dynamic Brand Manager & Business Development Manager who can drive brand growth by acquiring new buyers and multi-brand store (MBO) partnerships while managing existing client relationships. The role combines business development, client servicing, catalogue management, and order coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Growth

Generate new buyer leads, distributors, and multi-brand store (MBO) partnerships across India and international markets.

Build, manage, and nurture long-term relationships with buyers and retail partners.

Develop and execute strategies to increase order value, repeat business, and market presence.

Handle personal clients and key accounts independently.

Brand & Catalogue Management

Create, curate, and manage online catalogues for new collections (lookbooks, line sheets, pricing).

Coordinate product launches, collection presentations, and buyer previews.

Ensure accurate product information, pricing, and availability across catalogues and platforms.

Order Coordination & Execution

Coordinate timely order confirmations and delivery schedules with the production and operations teams.

Track order progress and ensure on-time dispatch and delivery.

Act as a bridge between buyers and internal teams for smooth communication and execution.

Client Servicing & Strategy

Understand buyer requirements and market trends to suggest suitable collections.

Assist in planning pricing, margin strategies, and seasonal sales planning.

Address client queries, feedback, and post-sales support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

25 years of experience in fashion brand management, business development, sales, or merchandising.

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

Understanding of Indianwear, wholesale, and multi-brand store business.

Ability to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and coordination with production teams.

Organized, proactive, and results-driven mindset.

Added Advantages (Good to Have)

Experience in social media management (Instagram, content coordination, campaigns).

Knowledge of Shopify catalog management and online selling platforms.

Experience in preparing digital lookbooks, line sheets, and presentations.

Exposure to exhibitions, trade shows, and buyer meetings.
