Role Overview
Frido is looking for a Brand Experience Designer Stores to own and elevate the in-store brand experience across exclusive brand outlets, shop-in-shops, and new store openings. This role blends spatial design, visual merchandising, and brand storytelling to deliver consistent, high-impact retail environments aligned with Frido's brand DNA.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead spatial design for retail stores including layouts, zoning, customer flow, and experience planning
- Own visual merchandising (VM) execution across stores to ensure brand consistency and strong on-ground presence
- Design and implement planograms aligned with product strategy and space optimization
- Support New Store Openings (NSOs) from design concept to on-ground execution and rollout
- Coordinate with vendors and fabricators for fixtures, displays, signage, and store elements
- Conduct regional store audits to ensure VM, layout, and brand guideline adherence
- Collaborate closely with brand, retail, and ops teams to translate campaigns into store experiences
- Maintain and evolve store design guidelines and VM manuals
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong background in Textile / Apparel Designing or Retail Design
- Proven experience in spatial design, VM, and retail store execution
- Hands-on expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Experience with planograms, store layouts, and VM standards
- Strong vendor management and on-site execution capabilities
- Eye for detail, aesthetics, and customer-centric design
Preferred Profile
- Experience with D2C / lifestyle / consumer brands
- Exposure to multi-city store rollouts and audits
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-ownership startup environments
