Role: Manager – Brand Design

About the Role
We're building the future of advertising technology through 7+ homegrown brands that need world-class visual identities. We need a brand design architect who can build systems from zero, refresh legacy identities, and create scalable Figma-powered frameworks that grow with our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Multi-brand architecture: Design, build, and maintain distinct yet cohesive brand identity systems across our advertising tech portfolio establishing visual hierarchies that allow each brand to stand out while reinforcing our ecosystem.
- Figma-first systems: Create comprehensive, scalable component libraries in Figma (logos, typography, color systems, iconography, UI kits) that empower teams to execute consistently across all channels.
- 0-to-1 brand building: Lead full brand creation cycles from strategic concept and visual identity through to detailed guidelines and asset production for new brand launches.
- Brand refresh & evolution: Audit and revitalize existing brand identities, modernizing visual systems while preserving brand equity and market recognition.
- Living brand guidelines: Document and maintain detailed brand standards (logo usage, typography rules, colour applications, tone of voice) that scale across digital, print, web, and product touchpoints.
- Cross-functional execution: Partner with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Engineering teams using Figma's collaborative features to deliver campaigns, web experiences, decks, and collateral that drive business results.
- Quality guardian: Ensure every brand touchpoint from pitch decks to product UI meets our creative and strategic standards.
- Future ready: Ensure we create brand templates for various recurring tasks and touchpoints.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8-10 years in brand design, with proven experience building identity systems from scratch and managing multi-brand portfolios.
- Figma expert: Advanced mastery of design systems, component architecture, prototyping, and team library management.
- Brand systems thinker: Deep understanding of brand strategy, visual identity, typography, color theory, and how design systems enable business scale.
- Portfolio proof: Demonstrated success creating cohesive brand ecosystems, ideally in tech, SaaS, or digital-first environments.
- Execution excellence: Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. Comfort with motion design for brand storytelling will be a plus.
- Communicator: Articulate design rationale confidently to non-design stakeholders, translate business goals into compelling visual strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Visual/Graphic Design, Commercial Art, Communications, or equivalent experience.
