Brand and Marketing Manager

Company: Virangana Castle Pvt Ltd - Communal (Skincare Brand – D2C)

Location: Pune, Maharashtra

Job Type: Full-time

About the Role:                       

We are looking for a sharp, execution-focused Brand & Marketing Manager who can build, scale, and protect the brand across all touch points. This role blends brand strategy + performance marketing + content + product storytelling.

You'll work directly with the founder to shape how the brand looks, sounds, and grows.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Strategy & Positioning

·        Define and evolve brand positioning, voice, and messaging

·        Ensure consistency across packaging, website, ads, and social media

·        Build a premium yet relatable brand narrative (nature + science, community-driven storytelling)

 

2. Marketing Execution (Growth + Performance)

·        Plan and execute Meta (Facebook/Instagram) & Google campaigns

·        Optimize CAC, ROAS, AOV, and overall funnel performance

·        Work with agencies/freelancers and hold them accountable

 

3. Content & Social Media

·        Lead content calendar (Instagram, reels, UGC, influencer content)

·        Create viral hooks, captions, and storytelling angles

·        Build a strong UGC + creator ecosystem

 

4. Influencer & PR

·        Identify and onboard influencers (micro to celebrity)

·        Structure deliverables (posts, reels, usage rights, ads whitelisting)

·        Drive PR opportunities (magazines, features, brand collaborations)

 

5. Product Marketing

·        Own launch strategy (teasers, campaigns, storytelling)

·        Develop product USPs, claims, and communication

·        Work closely with product/packaging team for cohesive branding

 

6. E-commerce & Marketplace Marketing

·        Optimize website (Shopify) for conversion

·        Plan campaigns for Amazon, Nykaa, Blinkit, Zepto

·        Improve product listings, creatives, and reviews strategy

 

7. Analytics & Reporting

·        Track key metrics: CAC, LTV, ROAS, conversion rate, retention

·        Share weekly performance insights and action plans

 

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience

·        3–6 years experience in D2C, skincare, beauty, or lifestyle brands

·        Strong understanding of performance marketing + brand building

·        Deep knowledge of Instagram trends, content formats, and influencer ecosystem

·        Experience managing agencies and cross-functional teams

·        Creative thinker with strong execution ability
