Job Description

Business Development & Sales

  • Drive branch-level business growth across loan products (secured/unsecured).
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local customers, channel partners, and referral sources.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and ensure healthy lead conversion ratios.

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Supervise and mentor branch staff, including sales, credit, and back-office personnel.
  • Conduct regular training, performance reviews, and motivate the team to meet branch objectives.
  • Maintain high employee engagement and promote a performance-driven culture.

Credit & Risk Management

  • Oversee credit underwriting and ensure quality sourcing and approvals.
  • Ensure compliance with credit policies, documentation standards, and KYC norms.
  • Coordinate with credit and risk teams to maintain portfolio health and control delinquency.

Branch Operations

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of branch operations, including customer service, documentation, and cash handling (if applicable).
  • Monitor branch expenses and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting (MIS) to the head office.

Compliance & Audit

  • Adhere to RBI/NBFC regulations and company policies.

Ensure readiness for audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
