Job Description

Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the branch operations for the paints business, ensuring achievement of sales targets, operational efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with company policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development - Drive revenue growth by achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. - Develop and execute branch-level sales strategies aligned with organizational goals. - Build relationships with dealers, distributors, institutional buyers, contractors, and architects. - Explore new market opportunities and ensure deeper market penetration.
  • Team Leadership & Development - Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and support teams to achieve performance goals. - Conduct regular reviews, training, and performance appraisals of staff. - Ensure high levels of employee productivity, discipline, and engagement.
  • Operations & Administration - Ensure smooth functioning of day-to-day branch activities. - Oversee inventory levels, stock planning, and timely product dispatch. - Maintain proper documentation, records, and compliance with company policies.
  • Customer Relationship Management - Provide timely support to key accounts and handle escalations. - Ensure on-time delivery, product quality, and service standards. - Monitor customer satisfaction and implement corrective actions when required.
  • Financial Management - Ensure timely collection of payments to maintain healthy receivables. - Control branch expenses and enhance profitability. - Prepare periodic sales forecasts, budgets, and MIS reports for management review.
  • Market Intelligence - Track competitor activities, market trends, and customer requirements. - Provide regular feedback to senior management for strategic decision-making.
