Role Description
This full-time Branch Manager role is based on-site at our Chennai location. The Branch Manager will oversee day-to-day branch operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and superior customer service.
The role involves managing and guiding the branch team, supervising operational activities, and ensuring smooth coordination of daily visa application submissions and passport collections from VFS, Embassies, Consulates, and authorized agents.
A key responsibility of this position is Business Development, including building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, and other stakeholders, while identifying opportunities to expand the company's services in the region.
The Branch Manager will also maintain strong working relationships with VFS centres, embassies, and consulates, obtain timely updates on visa processes and requirements, and act as the primary point of contact for internal branches regarding visa processing support and updates.
Additionally, the role requires handling escalations, problem-solving, ensuring compliance with company policies and documentation standards, fostering a collaborative team environment, and taking full ownership of branch operations to ensure efficient and seamless service delivery.
Qualifications
* Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills with the ability to oversee branch operations efficiently.
* Extensive experience in the travel and visa services industry, with in-depth knowledge of visa documentation, submission procedures, and embassy/consulate requirements.
* Hands-on experience in handling visa submissions and passport collections through VFS centers, embassies, consulates, and authorized agents.
* Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with VFS centers, embassies, consulates, corporate clients, and travel partners.
* Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and escalation-handling abilities in time-sensitive visa processing environments.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and internal branches.
* Proven experience in Corporate Travel Sales with strong knowledge of Travel and Visa services, including the ability to develop corporate accounts, build client relationships, and generate new business opportunities.
* Proficiency in technology and familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office tools for operational tracking and reporting.
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
