Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ghansawangi for a Branch Manager at Belstar Microfinance Limited. The Branch Manager will oversee day-to-day branch operations, ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, and lead branch staff to meet financial and operational goals. Key responsibilities include managing customer relationships, supervising loan disbursements and repayments, conducting field visits, ensuring portfolio quality, and identifying growth opportunities. The role also involves preparing reports, monitoring key performance indicators, and fostering a collaborative working environment within the branch team.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in overseeing branch operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing customer and staff relationships
  • Proficiency in financial monitoring, loan disbursement, and repayment processes
  • Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and make data-driven business decisions
  • Knowledge of microfinance models and financial inclusion practices is highly desirable
  • Problem-solving skills to address challenges in field operations
  • Proficiency in MS Office and financial software tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience in the microfinance, banking, or community development sectors is an advantage
