- Develop, implement, and oversee credit risk management policies and procedures tailored to client requirements.
- Monitor and assess the credit risk profile of client portfolios.
- Conduct regular credit risk assessments, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
- Provide strategic recommendations to clients to mitigate credit risks.
Service Delivery:
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of credit risk management services to clients.
- Maintain high standards of quality and compliance in service delivery.
- Develop and manage service level agreements (SLAs) with clients.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of credit risk analysts and managers.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet client and business needs.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant client, regulatory, and industry standards.
- Prepare and present regular reports on credit risk management activities and outcomes to clients and senior management.
- Keep abreast of changes in regulations and best practices in credit risk management.
Operational Efficiency:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of credit risk management services.
- Leverage technology and data analytics to optimize service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, ICWA) is a plus.
Note - Avoid, Engineering with MBA profiles.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in credit risk management (Corporate underwriting equivalent experience), with a significant portion in the banking sector.
- Experience working in a BPO or shared services environment is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering high-quality services.
