Signature Pharmacy and SignatureRx are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper based in India to support our UK and UAE operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, systems, and processes, and who can confidently manage bookkeeping across multiple companies.
You'll play a key role in keeping our financial records accurate, up to date, and well organised while working closely with our finance and operations teams.
Responsibilities:
- Reconciling bank transactions and accurately apportioning them to the correct company P&L
- Creating, reconciling, and managing sales invoices
- Chasing unpaid invoices and maintaining up-to-date debtor balances
- Setting up supplier, contractor, and operational payments for approval
- Managing salary and payroll-related payments for approval
- Managing contractor payments and maintaining accurate records
- Handling inter-company transactions and ensuring balance sheets reconcile correctly
- Using Xero and Zoho Books to reconcile accounts and transactions
- Supporting month-end processes and resolving discrepancies as they arise
- Maintaining clear, audit-ready financial records
Required skills & attributes:
- Strong experience with Xero and Zoho Books, or the ability to learn quickly
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal English)
- Ability to confidently follow up on unpaid invoices
- Good teamwork skills with the ability to work independently
- Well-organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience supporting UK and/or UAE companies
- Experience working with multi-entity or inter-company accounting
- Background in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance
