Description
We are seeking a skilled BMS Technician to join our team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Building Management Systems to ensure efficient operation and energy management in various facilities.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS) and associated equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of BMS to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to implement BMS solutions in new and existing buildings.
- Provide technical support and training to facility management personnel on BMS operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of BMS configurations, changes, and maintenance activities.
- Respond to service requests and assist in emergency repairs related to BMS.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements in BMS.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in Building Management Systems or related fields.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and their integration with BMS.
- Proficiency in programming and configuring BMS software (e.g., Tridium, Honeywell, Johnson Controls).
- Experience with networking and communication protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant certifications in BMS or HVAC systems (e.g., LEED, CABA) are a plus.
