Key Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Blue Planet Inventory Consultant with strong expertise in inventory management solutions within telecom/network environments. The consultant will be responsible for implementation, configuration, integration, and support of Blue Planet Inventory modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and configure Blue Planet Inventory (BPI) solutions.
• Work on network inventory modeling (Physical & Logical inventory).
• Configure resources such as devices, cards, ports, circuits, and services.
• Integrate Blue Planet Inventory with OSS/BSS systems.
• Perform data migration and inventory reconciliation.
• Develop and customize workflows as per business requirements.
• Support API integrations (REST/SOAP).
• Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and performance issues.
• Provide L2/L3 production support.
• Prepare functional and technical documentation.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Blue Planet Inventory.
• Strong understanding of telecom network technologies (IP, MPLS, Fiber, GPON, etc.).
• Experience with OSS/BSS integration.
• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in telecom operators or network service providers.
• Knowledge of automation/orchestration platforms.
• Familiarity with network discovery tools.
• Basic knowledge of Java or scripting (Shell/Python).

Experience:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Blue Planet Inventory.
