Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Blockchain Developer (612 years experience) to architect, develop, and scale secure blockchain-based systems and decentralized applications (dApps). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in smart contract development, distributed systems, and blockchain infrastructure, along with the ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop secure, scalable blockchain solutions and protocols.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy complex smart contracts using Solidity.
- Lead the development and optimization of decentralized applications (dApps).
- Define blockchain system architecture and technical standards.
- Work extensively with platforms such as Ethereum and/or Hyperledger.
- Conduct advanced smart contract audits, security reviews, and vulnerability assessments.
- Implement cryptographic mechanisms and secure key management solutions.
- Optimize gas usage, transaction throughput, and network efficiency.
- Design and implement Layer 2 and cross-chain integration strategies.
- Integrate blockchain systems with enterprise applications and APIs.
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes.
- Monitor and maintain blockchain nodes and infrastructure.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and lead code reviews.
- Stay updated on emerging blockchain technologies, standards, and regulatory developments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 612 years of overall software development experience, with significant hands-on blockchain development exposure.
- Strong expertise in Solidity and Web3.js (or similar libraries such as Ethers.js).
- Deep hands-on experience with Ethereum, Hyperledger, or similar blockchain frameworks.
- Strong understanding of blockchain architecture, consensus algorithms, and distributed systems.
- Proven experience in smart contract development, auditing, and security best practices.
- Strong knowledge of cryptographic principles, hashing algorithms, and digital signatures.
- Experience implementing token standards such as ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155.
- Hands-on experience with Layer 2 scaling solutions and cross-chain technologies.
- Experience with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving, system design, and architectural decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building enterprise-grade blockchain platforms.
- Exposure to DeFi, NFT, or tokenization platforms.
- Experience designing event-driven or microservices architectures.
- Prior experience leading blockchain teams or technical initiatives.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
