Role Description

Crudcook is hiring a Node.js + Blockchain Engineer for a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh. As a Node.js + Blockchain Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contracts while ensuring seamless integration with backend services. This role involves blockchain architecture design, Node.js-based API development, and working with Ethereum or other blockchain networks.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize smart contracts and blockchain applications.

Design and implement RESTful and Web3 APIs for decentralized applications.

Build scalable back-end services using Node.js.

Implement security best practices for blockchain transactions and smart contracts.

Work with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL for blockchain data storage.

Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate blockchain functionality into user-facing applications.

Research and implement Layer 2 solutions, DeFi protocols, and token standards.

Debug and resolve blockchain and backend-related issues.

Stay updated with emerging trends in blockchain technology.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in Node.js development with expertise in backend frameworks like Express.js or Nest.js.

Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including Ethereum, Solidity, Smart Contracts, and Web3.js.

Hands-on experience with Ethereum based DApps, NFT standards (ERC-721, ERC-1155), and DeFi protocols.

Experience with IPFS, Layer 2 scaling solutions, and decentralized storage.

Familiarity with Solidity, Truffle, Hardhat, or Foundry for smart contract development.

Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
