BLDC Motor Electrical Design Engineer

IoTechWorld Avigation Pvt Ltd, Gurgaon is a drone manufacturing company (www.iotechworld.com) and is seeking a passionate and skilled BLDC Motor Electrical Design & Development Engineer to join our team in building next-generation electric BLDC motor solutions. You will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of Brushless DC (BLDC) motors especially Electrical sidefrom concept design and electromagnetic modelling to prototyping, testing, and validation.

Key Responsibilities:

-Minimum 4 years of experience in Electrical Design for various types of BLDC/PMSM motors

-Perform electromagnetic simulations using tools like Ansys Motor-CAD, Maxwell, JMAG, or Flux.

-Participate in prototyping, testing (no-load, load, efficiency, thermal) and validation of motors

- Prepare design documentation, BOMs, and test reports.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware mechanical design, Electronics team, manufacturing and quality.

- Support troubleshooting, debugging and improvement of existing motor designs in the field.

-Training can be provided for interested candidates on BLDC motor design tools accordingly.

Requirements:

Must-Have: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.

-Hands-on experience with BLDC / PMSM motor design from electrical specification and parameters followed by electromagnetic simulation.

- Proficient with simulation tools such as Ansys Motor-CAD, Maxwell, JMAG, or similar.

- Knowledge of motor winding configurations, magnetic materials, and thermal management.

- Basic understanding of motor control (FOC, trapezoidal, sinusoidal).

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Nice-to-Have:

- Familiarity with industry standards for electric motors.

- Understanding of manufacturing processes for motor components.
