Senvion is seeking a talent professional with 6+ years of experience as Blade Fulfilment Engineer who will handle manufacturing non-conformity and provide composite repair method to manufacturing, site and after service for rotor blades. The person will create & release repair and retrofit work instructions for relevant stake holders and support root cause analysis, laser tracking, damage analysis across functions (manufacturing, installation & maintenance). Will also support composite product development, testing and validation at plant and site and coordinate with plant engineering, production and quality for nonconformity disposition.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Handling manufacturing and site nonconformities by careful evaluation of defects and provide repair disposition.
  • Create and release documents for repair and retrofit work instructions.
  • Support and lead root cause analysis
  • Support and lead defect / damage analysis at plant as well as at site
  • Support composite product development, testing & validation at plant & site.
  • Support a cross-functional team when in need.
  • Support product development and review of product qualification & its documents
  • Create technical documentation such as SOP, Repair instruction, Work Instruction, Retrofit Instructions and release through engineering change management.
  • May need extended working hours to support production nonconformity on a case-to-case basis.

Desired Professional Experience:

  • Hands on experience in composite manufacturing
  • Hands on experience in composite product development
  • Hands on experience in composite material testing
  • Experience in SAP
  • Experience in PLM is plus.
  • Experience in Statistical tools / Calculations
  • Experience in CAD Solid works / AutoCAD / CATIA
  • Experience in 8D Root Cause analysis & CAPA.
  • Shall be physically fit for working at heights (climbing towers, nacelle, and hub)
  • Shall be proficient in MS Office
  • Shall be proficient in English language to communicate across functions.
  • Knowledge of FEA of composites and interpretation of relevant reports.
  • Willing to travel up to 30% in a year
