Reporting in to Head Banking Operations and Transformation, this department works with all businesses of the bank including retail, small business and corporate to drive analytics. In terms of functions, the department has teams focused on all aspects of analytics for the bank including risk analytics, financial crime analytics, business and marketing analytics, building predictive scores, data engineering and business reporting and insights | |||||

The candidate would be Leading a Vertical Business Reporting team primarily focusing on Implementing Self-serve BI Dashboard Solutions , drive implementation of Star Schema Data Model for consumption of data in Business Dashboards and Analytical Insights . This person will be leading a team of 4-5 Reporting Analysts . | |||||
| Key Responsibilities | |||||
The candidate will be responsible for the following in his/her job role: Implement Self- serve BI Dashboards set up on modelled data for the Business verticals As a Team Leader, drive Self-serve BI solutions to transform the information consumption landscape. Understand the data sources for various data requirements across the horizontal area Assess appropriateness of the data model architecture to build BI Dashboards. Support and contribute to the ongoing initiatives aligned with business priorities Handling analytical requirements of Business Vertical with passion for designing, building and automating standard business processes/reports/ Business intelligence and Analytical dashboards. Strong analytical skills to work with complex processes and perform complex data manipulations and analysis. Work with large datasets and use data analytics tools to draw conclusions. Quick learner with excellent communication and presentation skills and has ability to interrelate with people at all levels. Develop and share best practices with multiple stakeholders Exploring and implementing alternate data modeling and segmentation techniques Ensure flawless delivery of projects on time | |||||
Qualifications | |||||
BE/BTECH/ MBA/MCA 6-8 years of work experience in BFSI on implementing Business Intelligence Solutions. Banking/ Insurance /BFSI/Consulting experience preferred. Should have Implemented large Business Intelligence Solution Projects. | |||||
| Role Proficiencies: | |||||
- Expertise on at least 1 BI tool in Visual Analytics- SAS Viya/Power BI/Tableau - Good understanding of Data Modeling - Informatica ETL , Data warehousing Concepts. - Expertise in any -one /more Programming Language Oracle SQL /SAS /Python - Understanding of Banking domain(Digital Bank, Retail Bank- Lending/Liabilities ) - Very strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Good communication, presentation, and inter-personal skills - Technical Skills:- Oracle, PL SQL / Informatica ETL / BI Tools - Strong data handling, interpretive and problem-solving skills with the ability to process large volume of transaction level data and efficiently derive actionable results. - Having a results oriented attitude with go get it done skill - Good Leadership & project management skills while working with both internal and external partners - Should have a high degree of motivation with a continuous thirst for learning |
