Job Summary
The role requires a highly technical biomedical professional with hands-on experience in installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of critical medical equipment. The candidate will lead biomedical service operations while ensuring maximum equipment uptime, regulatory compliance, and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead biomedical engineering and service operations with hands-on technical involvement
- Handle installation, commissioning, calibration, and validation of medical equipment
- Troubleshoot complex failures in critical and life-support equipment
- Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Mentor biomedical engineers and technicians
- Coordinate with clinical teams during equipment breakdowns and emergencies
- Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and accreditation requirements
- Maintain service documentation, audit records, and maintenance reports
- Optimize service cost through spares planning and technical standardization
