Key Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, and maintain medical equipment, including ventilators, monitors, infusion pumps, and imaging systems.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks and repairs to ensure equipment reliability.
- Train doctors, nurses, and technicians on proper equipment usage.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and biomedical waste disposal standards.
- Work closely with hospital administration for new equipment procurement and upgrades.
- Conduct troubleshooting and emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with hospital accreditation and biomedical standards (ISO, NABH, etc.).
- Perform quality control checks on medical devices before use.
