Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and Development: Support the R&D of medical devices and equipment through literature reviews, brainstorming sessions, and prototype development.
  • Design and Testing: Assist in designing and testing medical devices to meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including creating 3D models, simulations, and experiments.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze experimental and testing data, and present findings to senior engineers or project teams for decision-making.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to ensure devices and equipment comply with regulations (e.g., ISO, FDA).
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of design specifications, testing procedures, and development progress.
  • Collaboration: Work with mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, software developers, and medical professionals to integrate device components.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining medical equipment in clinical settings.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Prototyping and Fabrication: Support prototype creation and collaborate with manufacturing teams.
  • Continuing Education: Attend workshops, conferences, and online courses to stay informed on biomedical engineering advancements.
  • Safety and Risk Assessment: Participate in safety and risk assessments of medical devices and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Customer Support: Provide technical support to healthcare professionals and end-users of medical equipment.
