Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Biomedical Engineer, based in Shivamogga (Karnataka). The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting medical equipment, conducting preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance, and implementing clinical engineering solutions. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with healthcare professionals to identify equipment needs, providing technical support, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding and practical knowledge of Biomedical Engineering and Clinical Engineering principles.
• Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance, including the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Expertise in handling various types of Medical Equipment and ensuring their optimal functionality.
• Experience in performing Preventive Maintenance to ensure longevity and safety of medical devices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure healthcare environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field required; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and medical equipment safety standards is an advantage.
