We are looking for a Biomedical candidate for the role of Medical Claim Processing in our organization. This position is ideal for freshers/entry-level candidates who are eager to start their careers in the healthcare industry and have a strong interest in medical claims and billing.
Responsibilities
- Review medical claims for accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations.
- Verify patient eligibility and coverage for medical services.
- Analyze medical records and documentation to determine appropriate claims processing.
- Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve claim issues.
- Maintain accurate records of claims processed and adjustments made.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare billing processes.
- Proficiency in medical coding (ICD, CPT) and familiarity with claim processing software.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
