Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Biology Teacher at Mondrian High, located in Dehra Dun. The Biology Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging biology lessons, fostering a love for science, and encouraging critical thinking among students. Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson plans, conducting interactive and informative classes, assessing student progress through assignments and examinations, and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment. The teacher will also be expected to participate in school activities, mentor students, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience. The teacher will be expected to teach Biology from 7th to 10th grades.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Biology with a passion for teaching and learning
• Experience in Lesson Planning and conducting engaging classroom sessions
• Proven ability as a Qualified Teacher with excellent Teaching skills
• Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex concepts
• Adaptability, enthusiasm, and a student-centered teaching approach
• Relevant teaching certification and degree in Biology or related field
• Experience mentoring or guiding students is a plus
• Candidates with experience of teaching Cambridge curriculum will be given preference.
