Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Revit Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in using Revit software for architectural, structural, and MEP design and documentation. This role requires a deep understanding of BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Modeling and Documentation:
  • Develop detailed 3D models using Revit software for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
  • Create and manage project documentation, including floor plans, sections, elevations, and schedules.
  • Ensure models are accurate, consistent, and compliant with project standards and requirements.
  • Collaboration and Coordination:
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to integrate and coordinate designs.
  • Conduct clash detection and resolution to ensure seamless integration of various building systems.
  • Participate in project meetings to discuss design progress and address any issues or concerns.
  • BIM Management:
  • Maintain and manage Revit models throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Implement and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and best practices.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of BIM libraries and templates.
  • Technical Support and Training:
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Revit-related issues.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for team members to enhance their Revit skills and knowledge.
  • Stay updated with the latest Revit software features, industry trends, and advancements.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Revit software in the AEC industry.
  • Proven track record of working on complex projects involving multiple disciplines.

  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in Revit software and BIM workflows.
  • Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP design principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Revit or BIM management.
  • Experience with other design software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Dynamo.
  • Familiarity with construction processes and site coordination.
