Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi for a BIM Manager. The BIM Manager will oversee and coordinate Building Information Modeling processes for various projects, ensuring design accuracy and integration across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines. Key responsibilities include managing BIM workflows, leading coordination efforts among project teams, developing and implementing virtual design practices, and providing technical guidance and support for both internal and external teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage BIM implementation across multiple projects and disciplines.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and workflows within the organization.
- Oversee the creation, coordination, and quality control of BIM models and associated documentation.
- Manage project BIM execution plans (BEP) and ensure compliance across teams and consultants.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors for seamless model integration.
- Conduct clash detection and coordination reviews using tools like Navisworks and BIM Collaborate Pro.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and support to BIM teams and project stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, model health, and data integrity to ensure timely delivery.
- Ensure all BIM deliverables meet client requirements, project specifications, and industry standards.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in BIM processes and digital workflows.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and proficiency with BIM software
- Strong skills in BIM Coordination to ensure integration and alignment among various project disciplines
- Experience in Virtual Design and Architecture to enhance project visualization and execution
- Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems to effectively manage interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to lead and train teams in best practices for BIM and coordinate across stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications in BIM are a plus
- Proven experience with large-scale projects or heritage conservation efforts is highly desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a results-oriented approach
- Mandatory experience in airport projects with a strong understanding of aviation infrastructure design and coordination.
