About the role:

The BIM Manager is responsible for leading the implementation and management of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes across projects. This role ensures compliance with BIM standards, drives digital strategy, and facilitates collaboration between design, engineering, and construction teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement BIM strategies, workflows, and execution plans.
  • Align BIM processes with client requirements and company standards.
  • Oversee creation, coordination, and maintenance of federated BIM models.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with BIM protocols and ISO 19650 standards.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate BIM processes.
  • Lead BIM coordination meetings and resolve technical issues.
  • Provide training and mentoring to project teams on BIM tools and workflows.
  • Develop BIM documentation and best practice guidelines.
  • Manage BIM software suites (Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360) and ensure updates.
  • Oversee Common Data Environment (CDE) and ensure data integrity.
  • Support 4D (time) and 5D (cost) BIM integration for project planning and budgeting.
  • Facilitate creation of as-built models for handover and commissioning.

Skills & Experience Expected:

  • Advanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360/ACC
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management or related field.
  • Minimum 8-10+ years of experience in BIM management or coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of BIM standards (ISO 19650) and workflows.
