We currently have an opportunity for a highly talented BIM Manager to join our team. The candidate should have a solid understanding and hands off experience of BIM (Building Information Modeling). Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide progress and performance updates on a fortnightly and monthly basis.
- Support the setup, development, configuration, establishment of the Common Data Environment (CDE) for Project use e.g., ProjectWise, BIM 360 etc.
- Develop and maintain specific BIM software template files to assure compliance to standards.
- Develop, monitor, coordinate, and report on the development of Pre-and Post-appointment BIM Execution Plan, Task and Master Information Delivery Plan (TIDP and MIDP) for design delivery.
- Manage, support, and validate Project design delivery e.g., modeling, detailing, scheduling, and extraction(s).
- Develop the process, perform, measure, and ensure the highest quality for all BIM package submissions in accordance with local and intranational standards and project requirements during all Project stages.
- Supervise and oversee the review, monitoring, and reporting on the development of clash detection and resolution process and fully coordinated models with design leads.
- Prepare validation reports for milestone BIM package submissions.
- Oversee the validation and export of model geometry and data to schedules for internal design and commercial activities.
- Support the quality department conducting audits and record non-conformance(s).
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree in Architecture/ Engineering (Civil, Design, Built Environment, Interior Design) or related technical/business field.
- 8 - 10+ years working with BIM in the built environment.
- Proficient in a range of BIM authoring, scripting, design review, coordination, simulations, and collaboration applications and/or platforms e.g., Revit, Dynamo, Grasshopper, Navisworks, Synchro, BIM 360, ProjectWise etc.
