We are currently seeking a BIM Engineer - Electrical to join our Buildings, MEP team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to and co-create some of the most prestigious building projects in Scandinavia.

 

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop and maintain electrical BIM models using Revit MEP in line with project BIM Execution Plans.
  • Prepare:
  • Lighting layouts (general & emergency)
  • Power distribution systems (LV/MV, small power)
  • Cable routing and containment layouts
  • Fire alarm and ELV system layouts
  • Earthing, lightning protection layouts
  • Generate design drawings, sections and schedules directly from BIM models.
  • Perform clash detection and coordination using tools such as Navisworks/Solibri.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, architecture, structural) to ensure coordinated design delivery.
  • Prepare LOD 300–400 model development as per project requirements.
  • Model reviews, QA/QC processes and coordination meetings with international stakeholders.
  • Maintain proper model documentation, version control and data integrity.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 3–6 years of experience in BIM modeling for electrical building services within a consulting environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Revit MEP, Navisworks or Solibri, AutoCAD
  • Solid understanding of:
  • Lighting and power systems
  • Fire alarm and ELV systems
  • Electrical layouts and schematics
  • Experience with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
  • Experience with basic Dynamo scripting
  • Familiarity with BIM standards (LOD, ISO 19650 workflows).
  • Experience in international projects, preferably Denmark or Nordic region.
  • Experience in handling multiple BIM assignments on different projects simultaneously
  • Be able to prepare quantity take-off reports
  • Understanding of sustainable and energy-efficient building systems.
  • Ability to support and guide junior modelers.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and global team environment.
  • Good communication skills.
