We are seeking a Billing Executive with 3-6 years of experience in billing and accounting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts and a keen eye for detail. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all client invoices, managing a high volume of tasks, and providing excellent client service to project managers and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Invoice Processing & Validation: You will validate contracts with our MIS (Management Information System) to determine proper invoicing, service requirements, and formats. You will be responsible for processing and issuing accurate project invoices and validating labor charges and taxes.
  • Proactive Monitoring & Backlogs: Proactively monitor and track all purchase, sales, and service orders across the U.S. to ensure invoices are issued promptly. You'll also work with project managers to process any backlogs of unbilled invoices.
  • Discrepancy Resolution & Quality Assurance: Analyze and resolve discrepancies with customers or project managers. You'll be responsible for quality assurance in the invoicing process, including verifying the accuracy of all invoice calculations.
  • Process Improvement & Reporting: Recommend and implement billing solutions to maximize efficiency and accuracy. You'll manage a client-based invoicing log for daily workload prioritization and prepare month-end close reports.
  • Coordination & Client Service: Coordinate and collaborate with the local team, U.S. leads, and project managers. You will provide excellent client service and be responsible for preparing and updating SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 3-6 years of experience in billing and accounting.
  • Technical Skills: A strong understanding of accounting, billing, and financial concepts is required. Experience with billing software, specifically the Oracle system, is preferred. Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is also necessary.
  • Personal Attributes: You must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines while working effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and excellent attention to detail are essential.
