Job Description: Billing Developer (6–8 Years Experience)

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Billing Developer to design, develop, and maintain telecom billing systems. The role requires hands-on expertise in rating, charging, billing, invoicing, and billing lifecycle processes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and customize billing solutions

Implement rating logic, tariff configuration, and discounting models

Experience on billing, invoice generation, mediation processing, payments and reconciliation

Analyse business requirements and convert them into technical designs

Troubleshoot billing issues, revenue leakage, and performance bottlenecks

Integrate billing systems with upstream/downstream systems (CRM, OCS, ERP)

Participate in testing cycles (SIT, UAT) and production deployments

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance

Required Skills & Experience

6–8 years of experience in Telecom Billing Systems

Hands-on experience with the Billing platforms

Strong knowledge of:

Subscription management

Rating, Charging, Billing cycles

CDR processing, Mediation systems

Payment , Accounts receivable, GL

Proficiency in:

SQL, PL/SQL

Unix/Linux environments

Java (Spring Boot), Scripting (Shell, Python, etc.)

Experience with APIs and system integrations

Education

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
