- Primary skills: Technology->Big Data - Hadoop->Hadoop,Technology->Functional Programming->Scala
Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage end-to-end big data projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. - Oversee the design and implementation of big data solutions using Scala and other relevant technologies. - Ensure effective utilization of Hive for data warehousing and analysis. - Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. - Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders to achieve project objectives. Minimum Qualifications: - B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 8-15 years of experience in managing big data projects. - Proficiency in Scala and Big Data technologies. - Strong leadership and project management skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Hive and other data warehousing tools. - Proven track record of successful project delivery in a big data environment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. - Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools. Good to have skills: Apache Spark, Data Analysis, Hadoop, Python, Data Visualization
- Project Management fundamentals
- Project Lifecycles on development & maintenance projects, estimation methodologies, quality processes.
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages; knowledge of architecture frameworks, and design principles; ability to comprehend & manage technology, performance engineering.
- Domain Basic domain knowledge in order to understand the business requirements / functionality.
- Ability to perform project planning and scheduling, manage tasks and coordinate project resources to meet objectives and timelines
- Ability to work with business and technology subject matter experts to assess requirements, define scope, create estimates, and produce project charters
- Good understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies is a pre-requisite
- Awareness of latest technologies and trends
