Job Title: Big Data Developer


Experience Level

5+ years

Key Responsibilities

As a Big Data Developer, you will:

  • Data Ingestion & Automation: Implement and automate data ingestion solutions using Hadoop, Sqoop, Hive, Impala, and Spark.
  • Pipeline Management: Debug, performance tune, and troubleshoot big data pipelines.
  • Scripting & ETL: Work with Linux/Unix Shell scripting, SQL, and ETL processes.
  • Agile Development: Work within an Agile Scrum methodology.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Technical Proficiency:

  • Excellent knowledge of Big Data and Hadoop frameworks (Cloudera preferable).
  • Hands-on experience in implementing and automating data ingestion solutions using Hadoop, Sqoop, Hive, Impala, and Spark.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix Shell scripting (mandatory), SQL, and ETL.
  • Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting big data pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Jira, DevOps tools, and Git.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Relevant Experience: 5+ years as a Big Data Developer.
  • Experience in working in Agile Scrum methodology.
