About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Bid Manager to support our US Public Sector business development efforts. You will own the end-to-end RFP/bid response lifecycle; from identifying opportunities on US government portals to submitting polished, compliant proposals. This is a high-visibility role that requires strong coordination, writing, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and track RFP/RFI/RFQ opportunities across US State, Local, and Federal bid portals (e.g., Bidnet direct, DemandStar, state eProcurement portals)
• Qualify incoming opportunities against company capabilities, win probability, and strategic fit
• Develop and manage bid plans with clear timelines, roles, and milestones for each pursuit
• Coordinate with internal teams; solutions, delivery, legal, finance, and SMEs to collate and validate proposal content
• Lead end-to-end proposal writing, editing, and formatting to ensure compliance, clarity, and a compelling win theme
• Maintain and continuously improve a proposal content library, past performance write-ups, and boilerplate responses
• Track submission deadlines and manage document packaging per portal requirements (e.g., PDF formatting, portal uploads)
• Support post-submission activities including clarification responses and oral presentation preparation
• Prepare and own the bid defense Decks
• Create SOWs after the deal is finalized

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 35 years of experience in bid/proposal management, preferably for the US market
• Hands-on experience with US government bid portals (SAM.gov, BidSync, DemandStar, or similar)
• Strong understanding of the RFP response structure - executive summary, technical approach, past performance, pricing narrative
• Excellent written English communication and editing skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for proposal formatting and tracking
• Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines
• Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian university

Good to Have

• Exposure to IT services, cloud, data, or digital transformation domains
• Familiarity with Shipley or similar proposal management methodologies
• Basic understanding of US Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
