Bid Manager

Role Introduction

We're looking for an experienced, customer-focused Bid Manager who is ready to make a real impact. You'll bring proven experience managing complex, competitive bids and be confident owning the process from qualification through to submission, working across a fast-paced, multi-sector business.

You'll work alongside sales, product, solutions architecture and delivery teams to craft compelling responses for organisations across sectors including healthcare, local government, education and commercial enterprises. Every opportunity is different, meaning you'll combine strategic positioning with hands-on bid execution to create practical, winning outcomes.

This isn't about writing proposals in isolation. It's about understanding how organisations make decisions, navigating complex procurement processes, coordinating multiple stakeholders and crafting compelling narratives that genuinely resonate with evaluators. You'll also play a key role in bringing these bids to life through the creation of clear win themes, value propositions and customer-facing materials that help stakeholders understand the value and impact of the proposed solution.

What You Will Do

• Own each bid end to end: lead qualification and bid/no-bid decisions, develop the win strategy and win themes, and carry them through every stage of the lifecycle to contract award.
• Responding to Bids, ITT's, RFP's, RFQ's PQQ's etc. across all functions of OneAdvanced including, but not limited to, Education, Legal, Government, Health.
• Assemble and lead the virtual bid team, aligning solution, commercial, legal and delivery functions to the bid requirements, and securing executive sponsorship and stakeholder commitment at kick-off.
• Ensure the presentation of the document is in line with company branding and standards and presents our best response possible.
• Ensure documents are returned to the customer on time and compliant with their rules.
• Provide reporting to stakeholders on bid progress.
• Ensure all follow up communications are distributed and keep track of progress.
• Working with our colleagues in the UK and Australia.

What You Will Have

• 2+ years experience in a bid management role within a business of similar size and complexity
• Strong understanding of the full bid and tender lifecycle, from qualification through to submission
• Experience managing stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
• Solid project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple contributors to tight deadlines
• Confidence influencing and challenging colleagues who don't report to you
• A proactive, adaptable approach, with a drive for continuous improvement
• Methodical thinking, strong attention to detail, and the ability to build relationships quickly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a clear focus on results
• Experience using a bid management tool or platform is desirable (e.g. Loopio, RFPIO, or similar)
• Experience bidding into public sector frameworks or tenders is desirable
