Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager - Solutions and Proposals to lead and manage the complete bid lifecycle, including RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, tenders, and proposal submissions. The ideal candidate will work closely with sales, technical, product, and delivery teams to develop winning proposals, prepare solution documentation, coordinate tender responses, and ensure timely submission of high-quality bids.

The role requires a strong understanding of solution design, proposal management, commercial documentation, and customer requirements analysis. The successful candidate will act as a key bridge between customers, sales teams, and technical stakeholders to develop competitive and compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Bid & Tender Management
  • Manage the end-to-end bid process, including RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, tenders, and proposal submissions.
  • Review tender documents and identify key technical, commercial, and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather required information and prepare bid responses.
  • Maintain bid schedules, submission timelines, and documentation repositories.
  • Ensure all submissions comply with customer requirements and organizational standards.
  • Monitor tender portals and identify relevant business opportunities.
Proposal Development & Solution Design
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals, statements of work (SOW), solution documents, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop solution architectures aligned with customer requirements.
  • Create compelling value propositions, executive summaries, and differentiators for proposals.
  • Develop bill of quantities (BOQs), project scope documents, and solution sizing recommendations.
  • Support pricing exercises and commercial response preparation in coordination with sales and management teams.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field.
  • 3–8+ years of experience in Bid Management, Tender Management, Proposal Management, Pre-Sales, or Solution Consulting roles.
  • Proven experience in handling RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, government tenders, and commercial proposals.
  • Strong proposal writing and documentation skills.
  • Experience preparing technical and commercial responses for enterprise customers.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and coordination abilities.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance.
