Job Description

Job Title: Bid Manager - Digital

Location : Bangalore

 

 Experience: 8–12 years

 

Role Overview

The Digital Bid Manager will own and drive end-to-end responses to RFPs, RFIs, and proactive proposals for the Digital Practice. The role requires strong coordination across Sales, Presales, and Delivery teams to build compelling, high-quality technical and commercial proposals aligned to client needs across Government, BFSI, Healthcare, Transport and Enterprise sectors in the GCC.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Bid Management & Ownership

  • Lead end-to-end bid lifecycle: qualification, planning, response, submission, and defense
  • Create and manage bid plans, timelines, and deliverables across stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with RFP requirements and governance processes

2. Proposal Development

  • Develop high-quality technical proposals for:
  • Digital portals & mobile apps
  • BPM / workflow platforms (e.g., Camunda)
  • API Management & Integration (e.g., WSO2)
  • Cloud native development( Azure)
  • Structure proposals aligned to client objectives, solution approach, and value proposition
  • Collaborate with architects and SMEs to define solution architecture and scope

3. Commercial & Pricing Support

  • Work with presales and delivery to build effort estimates and pricing models
  • Support creation of commercial proposals (fixed price / T&M / hybrid models)
  • Ensure alignment between technical scope and commercials

4. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as central coordinator between Sales, Presales, Delivery, and Partners
  • Drive bid review meetings, clarifications, and approvals
  • Interface with partners for inputs

5. Bid Strategy & Positioning

  • Analyze RFPs to define win themes, differentiators, and competitive positioning
  • Prepare executive summaries, value propositions, and winning formula inputs
  • Support creation of proposal defense decks and presentations

6. Content & Knowledge Management

  • Build and maintain reusable proposal assets, templates, and case studies
  • Ensure consistency in messaging, branding, and quality across submissions

 

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong experience in responding to RFPs for Digital / IT services
  • Good understanding of:
  • Digital Experience Platforms (portals, mobile apps)
  • BPM / workflow solutions
  • API Management & system integration
  • Ability to translate technical solutions into business value
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Structured thinking and ability to manage multiple bids in parallel
  • Experience working with GCC clients (Government, BFSI, Healthcare) preferred

 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Technology
  • MBA (preferred but not mandatory)
