BI Lead

Current BI Team members are supposed to take care of following

1. KTLO - Production Support (L2) (Incident Management, Service Management, Change Management) 40%

2. Small/Medium Projects and Enhancements (L2 and L3) (Development Tasks) - 60% - in the existing environment.

Job Summary

The Data / Business Intelligence (BI) Lead is a offshore Senior Technical Role

- Hands-on delivery with technical accountability and leadership

- As an Individual (IC)

o Responsible for designing, developing, deploying Development tasks

o and supporting tasks taken up.

- As a team Lead

o responsible for reviewing design and guiding team on resolutions and process.

o responsible for adoption and adherence of Offshore BI team for SDLC, DevOps, and operational practices.

o Team Process oversight- (Roster preparation, ADO, Change Management, SLA Adherence, Reporting, Documentation, Incident Management, Time entry tracking, Performance concerns)

o SPOC for offshore Team members will reach out to him for blocker resolutions. He should be well experienced to provide the technical and process guidance.

o Single point of Contact for Customer Sr.Manager to provide

Progress Updates, Issues/concerns on deliverables

Weekly reports and meeting with customer(s)

The role requires overlap with US hours to enable close collaboration with onsite leadership, business stakeholders, and support teams.

Core Technical Responsibilities

Hands-on development and support using SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 or similar RDBMS.

ETL and integration development using Must Have (SSIS, ADF) and related frameworks.

Reporting and analytics using

o Must Have (SSRS, SSAS, Power BI, Azure SQL)

o Nice to have Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric.

Performance tuning of queries, pipelines, semantic models, and reports.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Technical and delivery leadership for all BI/Data developers (onsite and offshore PureSoftware team members).

Required Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field.

Required Experience

1012 years of overall IT experience, with a strong and sustained focus on Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, and analytics platforms.

6+ years of handson experience as Sr. Technical team member designing, developing, deploying, and supporting BI/data solutions in production environments

3+ years in a lead capacity, serving as a technical point of contact to review the proposed solutions by team for the assigned tasks.

Proven working experience by following SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and Azure DevOps (ADO) practices across development teams

Demonstrated ability to work handson while leading technical delivery, including design reviews, code reviews, deployments, and production support

Proven experience working with US customers in offshore onsite model supporting realtime collaboration and operational needs
