Job Title: Business Intelligence / Data Analyst

Location: Remote

Type: Contract (7.5 hours a day 5 days a week 7:30 am to 3:30 pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) is2:00 am to 11:00 am India Standard Time (IST))

Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Business Intelligence/Data Analyst to support our growing data needs. This role is split between producing high-quality reports for business stakeholders and migrating/automating existing reporting from legacy systems into Power BI. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, improve reporting efficiency, and support decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and deliver clear, accurate, and timely business reports (approx. 50% of the role).

Migrate legacy reporting into Power BI, including redesigning and automating existing reporting processes (approx. 50%).

Write and optimise SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data.

Use Excel for data analysis, validation, and ad-hoc reporting tasks.

Build intuitive, interactive Power BI dashboards and data models.

Collaborate with internal teams to understand data requirements and improve reporting workflows.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Power BI.

Experience creating and maintaining business reports and dashboards.

Solid understanding of data modelling, data validation, and ETL principles.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.

Bonus Skills:

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX

Basic scripting ability (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or similar).

Qlickview reporting
