Job Description

Job Description:

  • New Product Design & Development: Ensure end-to-end development of new products, including tools, checking fixtures, validation, testing fixtures, and grippers.
  • Product Convergence: Ensure product convergence in terms of CTQ (Critical to Quality geometry, aspects, function) and PRU convergence (cycle time, rejection rate, weight, etc.).
  • Project Management: Complete project management with cross-functional teams (CFT) following PO Optimap Process.
  • Budget & Scope Management: Manage budgeted hours and CNQ (Customer Need Quality) as per the project scope.
  • Product Fine Tuning & Validation: Oversee product fine-tuning and product validation activities to ensure design meets quality and functional requirements.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, acting as the primary technical contact.
  • Risk Analysis & Design Reviews: Conduct risk analysis, DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), design reviews, and document lessons learned.
  • Engineering Reviews & Reporting: Manage engineering reviews and maintain EPM (Engineering Project Management) dashboard reporting to the manager.

Required Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: 1015 years of engineering experience in product development and project management.
