Job Summary:

This is a full-time on-site role for a BESS Design Engineer, based in Gurugram. The BESS Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Key tasks include creating mechanical, electrical, and product designs, performing engineering calculations, and using CAD software to generate detailed technical drawings. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product optimization and design alignment with technical requirements. Additionally, the engineer will participate in the selection of materials and components and assist in system integration efforts.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Responsible for delivering high-quality BESS plant designs ; including preparation of detailed electrical drawings, design optimization, and compliance with customer and utility requirements. This role also focuses on coordinating with engineering teams, driving design accuracy through structured reviews and quality checks, and ensuring timely design approvals from clients. It involves mentoring junior engineers, standardizing design practices, and supporting continuous improvement in design efficiency, documentation, and technical collaboration across project stages.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Manage AC Engineering Team for ongoing projects and distribute responsibilities to team members.

2. AC Design and calculation documents preparation related to BESS.

3. Attend client meetings, present designs, and secure timely design approvals.

4. Detailed study of GTP and equipment drawings.

5. Review drawing before submission to client.

6. Match Documents delivery timeline.

7. Coordinate with client and maintain good response time.

8. Support draftsman to prepare BESS layouts.

9. Train and mentor junior engineers and freshers in design preparation and drafting standards.

10. Support BD Team for Pre Engineering Activities

Qualification: Minimum B.E./B.Tech (EE/EEE/ECE)

Skills:

1. AutoCAD

2. HOMER.

3. ETAP

4. Knowledge of BESS and Solar Side Engineering .

Notice Period: 1 month or lower

Experience: 08-10 years with minimum 02 years of experience in BESS engineering

Salary Package: 1,10,000/- per month
