Designation: Behavior Therapist
The Behavior Therapist will provide clinical skill instruction and implement behavior reduction protocols based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for children with autism and related developmental disabilities. Services will be delivered in clinic and community settings.
The therapist will also collect and record data, assist with parent training, and support Behavior Analysts and Pediatric Neurologists with clinical assessments as required.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct client care in both 1:1 and group settings using a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training methods.
- Implement prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
- Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behaviors.
- Assist in parent and caregiver training in alignment with individualized treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding client progress.
- Utilize safe and appropriate handling procedures when working with clients.
- Maintain strict client confidentiality at all times.
- Support Lead Behavioral Technicians, Behavior Analysts, and Pediatric Neurologists in preparing client-related materials.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized therapy and work environment.
- Collaborate with the treatment team including clients, parents, caregivers, and external professionals.
- Participate in required training programs to maintain and enhance technical knowledge and skills.
Requirements
- Ability to accept constructive feedback and continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with basic proficiency in MS Office and computer usage.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients, colleagues, supervisors, and community members.
