Job Description

Industry & Sector: Management Consulting and Professional Services delivering strategic advisory, implementation and talent-enabled consulting solutions to enterprise and mid-market clients across industries. This is an on-site sales role based in India focused on scaling consulting engagements and commercial partnerships.

Role: Business Development Executive Consulting Services (On-site, India)

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive new client acquisition for consulting services through proactive outbound prospecting and qualification of inbound leads.
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle: discovery calls, solution framing, proposal/RFP responses, pricing, negotiation, and handover to delivery teams.
  • Maintain and update CRM-based pipeline, prepare accurate forecasts, and convert opportunities into booked engagements.
  • Execute personalised outreach using LinkedIn, email sequences and event/partner channels to build and nurture a high-quality prospect list.
  • Collaborate with practice leads to develop commercial proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs) and client-facing collateral that reflect value and ROI.
  • Continuously refine messaging, capture market intelligence, and work to meet or exceed quarterly revenue and pipeline KPIs.

  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate client needs into commercial proposals and SOWs.
