Role Description

• Business Continuity Management (BCM) describes the set of activities that DBGroup conducts to prepare for and, more importantly, recover its processes fromoperational disruptions, since it isrequiredtomaintainan appropriate levelofavailability for its services. This roleis responsible forthe definition and maintenance of theCB IB Operations & ControlBCM operational structuregloballyand for ensuring sufficient and adequate resources are provided for the recovery.
• CB IB Operations & Control is a global division, supporting CB and IBbusiness, which consists of 10,000 peoplewho ensure safe, efficient, and compliant business operations throughout the various stages of trade and client lifecycle.

Your key responsibilities

• Define andmaintainCB IB Operations & ControlBCM operational structure.

• Understand and, whererequired, assess the Inherent and Residual Risk for the Unit, particularly breaches of Risk Appetite as relevant for their respective region to support the

Unit's Risk & Control Assessment (RCA)

• Confirm sufficient and adequate resources are provided for the recoverycapabilities.
• Required in the region or escalate relevantgaps.
• Approve suitableBusiness Continuity Coordinators (BCCs) and Accountable Managers (AMs)to each Recovery Unit (RU) within their regional structure,onceagreed with or appointed by relevant functional management.
• Cascade BCM-related communication across their area of responsibility.
• Support their Unit during a disruption, asappropriate.
• Provide guidance, support and training to Business Continuity Coordinators and Accountable Managers

Your skills and experience

• Overall experience6-8 years with5+ years withsimilarexperience ina role where you candemonstratea pro-active andwell-organizedapproach to problem solving(BCM environmentpreferred)
• Strong communicationskills and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with runningcalls with senior management and help inprioritization.
• Strong excel skills to create reports etc. and understanding of basic statistical and data mining approaches andterms.
• Managing project progress and adapt work asrequired
• Optimizingand improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
